The S&P 500 is divided into 11 sectors: broad categories of business (Tech, Energy, Health Care, and so on). Each sector has an ETF that tracks it (XLK for Tech, XLE for Energy), a fund you can buy that holds every stock in that sector at its market weight. H1 means the first half of the year, 1 January to 30 June. Forward P/E is the price you pay today per dollar of earnings analysts expect over the next 12 months; lower usually means cheaper. One nuance worth knowing: the heatmap in this report uses price returns (share price moves only), while the rotation section uses total returns (price moves plus dividends). Both are labelled where they appear.
